Calling all sapphires

Hi, I thought it would be fun for people to post pictures of their sapphires, whether it be rings, earrings, necklaces, etc.

Sapphire is my birthstone and I love it. I wanted to incorporate the stone into my wedding band which I did.

So let''s begin, I can''t wait to see all the gorgeous stones out there!

AllyD - LOVE your set!!! your ering looks perfect with that band - where''s the band from? i like the ratio of sapphires to diamonds in that and i bet it looks great on it''s own. any pics of it on you?

My only sapphire is a five stone band, which eventually i would like to turn into a 7 stone and wear with my eternity band -- right now the setting is too antique-y to look good together, so i wear it on my right hand most days.

Thanks Violet... here are two more shots, one of just the band and one with both. The band has 7 diamonds, G color and 14 sapphires with a total weight of 5.25...

Your ring is gorgeous, love the color!

That's the great thing about sapphires, they come in such a beautiful array of colors. How could you not love the stone!

Hi Sarah! The setting is from my local jeweler, and used to be my e-ring (with a center diamond), but when I switched to my current setting, I kept it and just put the sapphire in. I thought I''d post these 2 rings as they are very different. My Aunt gave them to me. She used to live in Arabia and I believe they are "Harem Rings". One is blue saphire and the other pink saphire. I apologize for the poor quality pictures. They don''t do the colours justice.
