Thanks @pearaffair! I've started loving dangle earrings in the past few years since they make me look less like a boy from the back! When I was a teenager with a pixie cut, I was stopped from entering the ladies toilet because someone thought I was a boy in jeans and white tee.

I've also tried the waist length hair thing but it's just not me.

I unexpectedly picked up a lot of 50 Sandawana emerald melee, so I will be selling the 7.5 x 7.5 ACC I bought from Mrs. Greeneyes. If anyone wants to buy it for $300 from me, let me know. I will put it up on Loupe troop between now and Monday. Lol I’m out of town, but have it with me, so will make a listing hopefully sooner rather than later.

My 4.5mm OEC 5 stone ring came! F-G color set in platinum. It is so comfortable. Nothing pokes me at all which I worried about.



I have a baby and 4yr old and am a stay at home mom. I wanted something durable I wouldn't be afraid to wear at home. This is perfect.

Ilya at Ivy and Rose said he would set it in a 14k wg solitaire for 200 plus 89 setting fee. He is in Chicago and he did my engagement ring to pendant and did a nice job.

I didn’t explore more possibilities.

@redwood66 I never answered you. Yes, I think the material is great, and I would consider getting another one but an OEC or MRB.

I love it so much! The faceting is just beautiful and the 4.5mm size stones are perfect on you!

@kuriso I’m headed to the post office in a minute. What I discovered is this moissy gets FILTHY fast and then the flashes get muted and it just sort of lies there. I ran it through two cycles of the magnasonic and then steamed it and it is back to a light show. Handle it with tweezers is my suggestion.

Watching this thread with great interest! I first heard of Tianyu from reddit and then weddingbee. I have a forever one ring from Moissianiteco and wondering if I should get a H&A cut as well since the prices are so reasonable.

Lucky_Rabbit, you didnt like their H&A though? Have you seen the forever one H&As and how do they compare?

To me, it is a lot like diamonds. Just gets filthy. I’m ocd about having clean diamonds though, and I ultrasonic mine daily.

I just wanted to update everyone.

I got the beautiful vintage white gold band Monday that I want to use with the moissy from Tianyu that I received a while back I called my jeweler this morning to tell him to expect me to drop it off for him this weekend and believe it or not, he is so excited. He said he had bought a 1 carat moissanite for his son's girlfriend and paid around $600 for it. I told him about my experience and he said he couldn't wait to get it and have a look. It may be a month before I get the finished ring back but I know he'll make sure to put the stone with what he thinks is the best mounting. I told him the band had a pattern on it so he may not think a fancy setting would be what the stone needed. He said that he'd know when he saw it. Now that I have all my "ducks in a row" so to speak, I'm getting pretty excited myself.

I have had a Forever One H&A and I have purchased the Amora Gem H&A cut. I got a replacement H&A from Tianyu (a lot better than the first time they sent them to me). I did a comparison review on all the stones on another forums. I'll private message you the link because I'm not sure if I could link to other boards on here.

EDIT: I guess I can't private message you. I like the C&C H&A. But the culet is a tad bigger than I like. As far as the brilliance and fire go, they're very similar. The only differences between the two are the culet (C&C has bigger table culet), the arrows (C&C has thicker arrows), and this whiteness to Tianyu's. It's much more noticeable outside in the sun. It has more like a glow to it. I don't know if it's a bad thing or not. In pictures with all 3 together, Tianyu's has this white glow to it. I'm not sure if they did that so the sparkles would look more white and not rainbow colors? Out of all 3 I prefer the Amora Gem the best. But Tianyu's H&A is still great for the price point. The thing with C&C F1 H&A is their inconsistent with their cut. When it's cut well it's really nice, when it's not it's still nice but could be better.

I’m hoping to do a custom Tianyu engagement ring (since we’re in the marriage talks, I want to have a good idea of what I want when designing with my SO), and I was curious about if any of you on here have a light blue/light blue-green jewel? It seems green is a common enough color, but I’m sure if blue is real or coated? I seem to be getting conflicting info when I google...

I love Edwardian-influenced designs, so it’s cool to see the less common cuts from you guys. It seems like the more vintage cuts do a great job balancing the fire of moissanite. <3

I had to come back with a close up of my 5 stone I captured just with my phone while out for dinner (no fancy lenses). The facets are just so pretty. This makes me want a bigger OEC lol.
