Buying Moissanite from Tianyu Gems

Hello--

Has anyone had any issues with the gems falling off their settings from Tianyu? Just curious. I've only ordered a dainty 5 stone wedding band and am interested ordering a halo setting only.

So she gave you the height measurement and not the width. Although, I'm still not even 100% sure how to interpret that height, haha.

Send her this image and ask what that width is:

I have gone back and forth with Sophia over this, she won’t provide any measurements like I asked for the shank & donut.

I’ve tried to convey in images that I want a simple sloped shoulder design like this ring:


But with this basket design



She just came back & told me to mark up the existing CAD, which is a copy of this design, not a combination of the design elements, like I asked.



It’s basically a copy of this ring, without the claw basket, and the tapering shoulders that I asked for from the beginning.



I tried to explain that it wasn’t right from the first, she came back & said that I was trying to change the design & asked for another $50 for another CAD!

I had sent pictures of a slight cathedral to give her an idea of the shape I wanted, but didn’t ask to redesign the ring!

I’m beyond frustrated, & told her I’m not paying for another CAD, especially since the first one isn’t what I asked for, and have asked for a refund at this point and canceled my order. Hopefully they don’t argue with me.

I really don’t feel like I’ve been unreasonable or unclear.

I just received them last night! The weather is cold and snowy, so I can't get good pics. Rings are comfortable too. I was really worried about that.

I then fell in love with the emerald cut. Here's the price sheet. Except they couldn't do the 2x4 we agreed on. I had to get 3x5 for the eternity band because I didn't want baguettes.

Wow! That's crazy! I'm so happy you like it so much. It's totally comfortable. I'll try to get some better pics soon. IF the sun ever comes back out. Lol This is my first ever platinum purchase. I do love that it won't need to be dipped and I could never of been able to afford this otherwise .

The necklace would be a smaller version of this (5X3.5mm fc instead of 7X4mm fc) without milgrain bc I don't know if I trust the Tianyu milgrain.

I have always liked that necklace too! The video of it is AMAZING!!

I have ordered a classic H&A solitaire from Tianyu as a trial and was super impressed with the quality. I just ordered a OEC solitaire too which I am waiting for. I’ve attached a few photos of my items.

My question is for the members who have ordered emerald cuts from them. I have asked for a emerald with traps on each side. Photo attached. I am currently waiting on the CAD but I wanted feedback on the emerald cut stone. Are you happy with the cut? Is it diamond like? Should I consider a radiant cut instead? Looking for some feedback. TIA.

The prongs are not right for soft claws, they are round. So definitely re-engage with them on that.

Hello!! I'm new to pricescope but have been on weddingbee for a while now. I figured I would share my experience ordering me and my fiancee's rings!
Here is my fiancee's CAD and ring (I bought this one first before we designed mine). It is a 14k rose gold twisted band ring with sapphire stimulant accents and a 6mm OEC GH center stone. It turned out perfect!

And here is mine that is on it's way right now and will be here Monday. In the CAD, you can see that the rose and white gold should be touching, but in the actual ring there is a small gap. I actually kind of like it, so I did not have them remake it. Mine is 14k white and rose gold with a 6.5mm OEC gh color moissanite and moissanite accents on the side of the stone and on the side view.
