Asscher Resert for my birthday!

So se of you might remember this stone. I posted it a few months ago. I wasn’t really feeling the setting, so for my bday, hubby and I went shopping. I had no idea I would you actually come upon the style and size of the setting that I was looking for! The quality is not high end by any means, but given the price, I’m not complaining. I kept my previous setting just in case. Lol. Here is the previous setting. And now for the reset: just realized the pics are not in order. The old setting has the pink sapphires. And the new setting is the other one. Lol. My bench weighed and verbally appraised the stone. It turns out it’s a .90 carat! Not bad for buying it without knowing. Lol. He said it’s got to be a G or better bc it’s very white and def a VS2!

Thank you! It was estimated at a .80 if I recall correctly.

Thank you! I can't believe that I found a reproduction of the Art Deco style that I wanted, and so fast! Ideally I would have come upon an original, but I decided to go for the repro Bc it was a sure thing and it was inexpensive!

Thank you. The odd thing is, I didn't really even realize that I was choosing a halo! I was going for the Art Deco look!! Really! I haven't really been thinking clearly lately, so I'm overjoyed that it worked out! I have to say that this setting really made my stone pop. It's almost like it picked up brilliance with the halo. Or maybe it just needed a good cleaning. Lol
