5 pages is alot to sit through if the ending is an anti climax... however the sheer cattiness on this last page was enough for me to ask the question.

I received the updates from bank yesterday. I was charged US$47 for the clearance of the check,plus shipment cost, I still lost ~US$80 in the end.

But the most painful thing for me is the 9 month''s nightmare!

Now, it is OVER!!!!!!

One important thing I learnt from this painful issue is that :

I must say, Abe you have a lot of class, those refunds really shows a lot, it was the right thing to do. If you start up another diamond business, and I need a CE diamond I will surely be contacting you. You are a good man Abe!

I must say, Abe you have a lot of class, those refunds really shows a lot, it was the right thing to do. If you start up another diamond business, and I need a CE diamond I will surely be contacting you. You are a good man Abe!

Yes, it did. For an oversea samll bank, it not only took ~5 weeks to clear the check but also charged me US$47, of which, US$15 paid for agent bank charge, S$30 (~US$21) was my local bank charge for the clearance, S$15(US$11) was postage fee. This is details I received from bank's updates yesterday.

I'm interested in your register name (abefroman) and date (Jun / 30 / 2009). Did you just register a name purposely for this issue?

Uhhhh...no, if you´d bother to look at my other posts, you´d see they have nothing to do with that issue. There are other people named Abe, such as Abe Froman....The Sausage King of Chicago. I´m surprised you haven´t heard of me.

You should take those fees up with your bank manager, or just forget about them, as you knew or shoud have know about them when buying from a US dealer, Abe from Aj´s has done more than enough for you, especially considering his circumstances, and that if he business closed, he wasn´t legally entitled to refund you money, as is what has happened to a lot of people with all the other business that have been closing in this economy.

I don''t know about international but i have a friend who got her $$ back for a high priced Beanie Baby by filing a fraud report with the PO.

It wasn''t thousands but she did get her claim resolved by the PO.

Abe has told me he has no money for a refund on a really poor quality ring. Its not even the right size. I am still out alot of money, 4X rogers amount. I have moved on but I would never recommend Abe and AJDiamonds to anyone.
