I feel so lucky about the color of the sapphire Mochiko. It actually looks quite different from the vendor pic that I saw first. Although I still would not recommend anyone buying a stone without seeing it first.

It's indeed a difference in style and choice of metal SapphireStyle. I love classics, vintage, bold and modern, nature inspired and art deco styles, so that's quite a range.

I am so impressed by the level of detail and craftmanship of the US based designers as well as their customer service Ricezo. Also, the CS and diamond market is much more transparant in the US because of the online vendors. Unfortunately the dollar to euro conversion is deteriorating (for people living in the Euro-zone that is). So, the great jewelry days will be over quite soon. Luckily I have still some great projects to look forward to.

DK: I love to share photo's and I love to admire and take inspiration from jewelry pieces from other PSers. My PS collection is truly on a different level because if this. You are quite the busy bee lately DK. I love your passion for Jeff Davies stones. He is great to work with isn't he? Looking forward to see your Aqua project come to live!

Thank you Missy. I love how jewelry can create a specific 'mood' or feel, just like fashion. Caysie did an amazing job with the details. This ring sets evokes such a different feel compared to wearing a bolder colored stone in a more contemporate setting.

Thank you for your kind words SparklySoprano!!! I am so glad it turned out even better than I had imagined. From the photo's I thought the band would be thicker/bolder. The proportions are an excellent choice by Caysie and her team.

To answer your question: the two bands look great together which would be a good choice for very casual or 'hands on' occasions. The sapphire ring is also a good match with the plain band only. I can also imagine the sculpted band alone, but not the plain band as I love some drama . The sculpted ring with the band 'need' the balance of the plain band in my opinion so I will not wear the sculpted rings together. I can also imagine some possibilities with a WG or plat simple eternity. So, lot's of stacking opportunities.

Somehow these 'hand full of rings' shots seem to work on Gace's elegant hands but not on my knuckly fingers.

Ha! Glad that my set has inspired you like Apacherose's set inspired me. Tell me more about your new project: metal choice, what kind of stone? I am still amazed about the delicate lines of the ring: I expected a much more chubby set. It's amazing to have so much detail on such a thin shank.
