With so much currently going on in society, it’s great when you can find a place to break away from all of the chaos. The internet can be somewhat claustrophobic when you don’t know where to go or what you’re looking for so we highly recommend searching for an outlet relating to something you’re passionate about, for us it’s diamonds and jewelry. PriceScope boasts an active diamond and jewelry forum that you can login to any time of the day, anywhere. With a host of exciting topics, you’re bound to also come across a blog post on the PriceScope blog that you thoroughly enjoy.

Where Is Peridot Mined?
Peridot is mined throughout the world. Peridot was first mined in Egypt in 1500 BC. Although, peridot was first confused to be emerald. Today, peridot is mined in the US specifically in New Mexico and Arizona. Peridot is also mined in Pakistan, Thailand, and China.
What Is Another Name For Peridot?
Peridot is sometimes referred to as ‘Hawaiian diamonds’. The reason for the name is that peridot shares something in common with the diamond. They’re formed with great heat well beneath the Earth’s surface, and they’re vaulted to the Earth’s surface through volcanic activity.
