Possibly this.....very bad pic ahead. 90-100 year old diamond and tsavorite brooch. My jeweler is bringing it in next week to show me.

This looks amazing! Hope you love it in person.

I took my elderly neighbor out to Intergem yesterday (her first time since the pandemic). Knowing the 4th of July show is always dead (most vendors skip due to lack of attendance) , I thought I could easily keep my commitment on not buying anything. Utter fail

I know these are small purchases by PS standards, but I fell in love with the design of the ring - fun and perfect for every day wear. And it's always hard for me to pass up earrings in my budget that actually look right on my ears. Earrings tend to show sideways and/or get lost with my thick dark hair. These both had presence and enough swing.

All were designed/made by the sellers so I "justified" the spend that I was helping independent sellers recoup their costs during a very slow show...haha.

are little critters allowed here ?
little (probably dyed) agate critters ? :lol-2: :lol-2:

its made to order
i just asked for the dimensions

never mind im on a ban, or rather ive set myself clear guidelines - everything i already own needs to be usable before i buy any new stand alone pretties - of course ....this would help complete a presently unwearable necklace im lengthening due to 'fat neck'
https://www.etsy.com/listing/720147148/natural-green-agate-gemstones-solid-925
or its available from a US based etsy shop for 3x the price :-o

i was really looking for a tiny dragonfly or butterfly charm :lol-2:
I'm tempted to fix it so it's detachable so i can still wear it as a brooch

because the world needs more brooches

Love this! It's my favorite setting because each individual stone gets to shine. Would love to hear whatever details you're comfortable with sharing.

Thanks! I bought it from James Allen because my e-ring is also from them and it’s well made so wanted to go with a vendor I had experience with. The bracelet is 7 ct total and the stones are F/G VS2. Each diamond is about 0.18 ct. I am just starting on my fine jewelry collection and have been so inspired by the amazing pieces I see on here!

HI:

My emerald is in process to be reset. I will see the wax next Saturday. Oh and that estate Tiffany Lucida I had been stalking forever, is well, gone. But not to me. Poop.

cheers--Sharon

Dipping my toe into coral! Will be sending to GIA just to verify they are natural angelskin and undyed and they need to be restrung because the knots are uneven. Will be on the lookout for a good clasp to match! Screen Shot 2022-07-16 at 8.35.52 PM.png

The setting is gorgeous, but I've also been looking at other antique options :D

I’m considering the is emerald cut. Please chime in on other thread! Be brutally honest!
I don’t know how to link threads, lol. Sorry.

Oh my I know nothing about step cuts but I could just dive into that stone!!!

I’ve been daydreaming about adding a yellow diamond to my collection. I know it would be damaging to wear another full eternity with my existing white diamond one, but this would be my dream wedding set

Buy it! Add a teeny tiny thin little knife edge band between them, such as the Tiffany 1.5mm, and you will barely see it :kiss2:

Do you think the spacer band would need to go as high as the diamond girdles on at least one of the bands?
I’ve had a chat with my jeweller who said a bezel or Chanel set eternity could work. I’ve tried on a Chanel set with my desired carat weight, and I think it looks too masculine (like a footballer’s wedding ring) and my fingers are pretty average sized (uk k and half)
I have time to think about is as we have a big anniversary coming up in just over 18 months.

I am the same ring size as you. I think with a knife edge it is more about keeping separation at the point of the finger to keep the diamond girdles apart, which then takes to such a fine knife edge that top down when looking at your hand, you would barely see the top of the band.

If I remember tomorrow I will take a pic of my Tiffany knife edge upside down, between my wedding & eternity rings. My band tapers to a width of 1mm as the strength is in the depth, like a pointy tower standing upwards from the finger. I think it would work perfectly for what you are trying to achieve.

And, ya know.... PS enabling & all that..... :Up_to_something:

Oh my goodness! Thanks so much, that would be very appreciated. So glad you mentioned the knife edge ring. I’ve been toying with the idea of the 1.5mm ring because it sits really pretty with my solitaire and was hoping it could be dual purpose https://www.tiffany.co.uk/jewelry/rings/tiffany-true-band-ring-GRP11418/
but I wouldn’t want to buy the wrong ring

Hope this gives you some idea. Obviously the donut on my ring prevents it from being flush like a plain knife edge band would, and also your diamond bands will have a higher profile than these, so they will stand taller either side of the knife edge. It will keep them apart but disappear into the bling

For the last 10 years, diamond studs have been my go to earring 99% of them time. I decided I needed to go outside my comfort zone so I decided to find diamond hoops. I found a pair of emerald cut hoops that I loved but they were too big for me so I had a much smaller version made. Here they are.
