I’ve been looking for an 18k gold bead necklace with a similar feel to my much loved Tiffany hardwear silver necklace. I found this pretty vintage one on Etsy for Mother’s Day. This is a vendor photo but it looks just like it in person! I have reached yellow gold necklace Nirvana between this, my VCA pendant and my Schlumberger egg! Well maybe I could add a teeny tiny DBTY… :lol-2::lol-2: A90548D6-DB50-45A6-9FE9-6E83EA681CBF.jpeg

Hallo @Rubies-R-Me! :wavey:

Actually, I *did* consider it - and it was the first time ever! But the pendant, if I went that direction, would be part of a quite complicated necklace and would need to be permanently built into the necklace as a whole.

So it's one or the other. I do LOVE the idea of a yellow gold daisy ring, tho!

*sigh*

As ever - I'm stuck.....

If I may vote, I say yellow gold. Although many of your recent pieces are platinum and wg…I think a yellow daisy is a perfect sunny idea!

Edited to add that I saw the Graff pendant. It’s hard to argue against something so beautiful!

I only have a few snaps so far but here you go! It’s 18 inches and graduated from 5mm to 12mm. It doesn’t look quite as chunky on me, I think the model was more petite! The beads are hollow but sturdy and it’s strung on a good weight box chain.

I wore it with a casual outfit today and it will be easy to dress it up or down- I wanted something versatile like a strand of pearls but in yellow gold.

Wow!! Thats stunning! What a fabulous statement.
It reminds me of the VCA large Perlee ring that is bigger in the front than in the back.
Enjoy it!!!

This is fabulous. It looks so great on you. It comes at a perfect time because I just contacted an Etsy/IG vendor 3 days ago about having a similiar piece made in high carat yg and waiting for a quote. Seeing this on you makes me even more confident that it’s a piece I should add to my wardrobe

Thank you! It’s one of those items I know will get a lot of wear. I hope you love yours, I think it’s really classic. I was happy to find something vintage that was close to my vision. I had debated having one made and might have gone a few inches longer so it draped over the front of shirts (for work i often wear higher necklines and having beads or pearls at a 20-22 in length looks nice).

I am! I had to finish the cluster earrings first and, given how much over budget I ran, the Southern Cross locket will have to be pushed back. I'm still hoping for this year, but we'll see.

To be honest, I had DKJ make me a set of invisible clasp earrings. They're hinged hoops with no obvious closure, meaning that they can rotate 360 degrees in my ears and never catch on my skin. As a result, I can sleep in them in complete comfort - and I do! I had a 1" pair made and a 1/2" pair made for my outer holes. I'm almost embarrassed to say - apart from wearing my clusters once or twice, I've worn these perpetually - day and night - for over 2 months. They're incredibly comfortable, I think *everybody* should have a pair, and they look like this:

(Sorry about the blurry photos - ear selfies on a cell phone at night are not my strong suit)

I have a 10ctw 3-prong tennis bracelet from WF, that I usually stack with a 15ctw 4-prong tennis bracelet from Shay Jewelry. The tennis bracelet from WF is my absolute favorite, it is soooo sparkly, but I often find myself wishing I went bigger.

I'm thinking of going as big as possible & getting the largest one they offer: a 15ctw 3-prong tennis bracelet from WF. Should I do it?

I wish I could try them on in person to see the size difference from a 10ctw 3-prong to a 12ctw 3-prong and 15ctw 3-prong.

I know you already said the WF is your favorite, but may I ask how the WF stones compare to Shay's? Such an incredible stack!

I know you already said the WF is your favorite, but may I ask how the WF stones compare to Shay's? Such an incredible stack!

Both bracelets are supposed to be F/G color and VS clarity.

The price difference between both brands is extreme:
10 ctw 4-prong Shay bracelet - $33,000 USD
15 ctw 4-prong Shay bracelet - $39,000 USD
10 ctw 3-prong WF bracelet - $28,000 USD
15 ctw 3-prong WF bracelet - $90,000 USD

The 15 ctw WF bracelet is double the price of Shay's 15 ctw, but the 10 ctw WF bracelet is less than Shay's 10 ctw? Not sure what is going on there!

I got the Shay tennis bracelet first and I was absolutely in love and blown away when I first saw it. I purchased from them because they were the only ones I could find at the time offering a customized 6" length, because I'm lazy and didn't want to take it to a jeweler after purchasing. The diamonds are very sparkly, bright, and white, but there isn't a lot of fire which is what I really love. In fact, I would actually say there is almost no fire and primarily a lot of white brilliance.

Then I purchased the WF tennis bracelet, and suddenly the Shay bracelet didn't seem so sparkly anymore (yes, I keep it clean - I clean it regularly with a soft toothbrush, warm water, & dish soap). The diamonds on the WF bracelet are so incredibly sparkly and have so much fire, I've never seen anything else like it. I catch myself staring at it often. Even when the WF diamonds start to get dirty, they are still incredibly sparkly and have intense fire. The Shay diamonds get very dull, cloudy, and lose their sparkle pretty quickly when they are due for a cleaning.

Even when both bracelets are equally clean, the Shay diamonds are still disappointing (dull, cloudy, no fire) compared to the WF diamonds (constant firework show). On their own the Shay diamonds don't look dull or cloudy but when next to WF....the difference is very noticeable.
