Please don't kill me, but when I see matchy match diamonds with perfect color and clarity I think fake or lab.
I tend to agree!
Seller is starlight.diamonds. They have a number of old cuts but here’s the kicker: they are not labelled as old cuts lol So ya gotta hunt. Offer like half the asking price or less.

... as of right now I am leaning towards returning Bubbly. She is the most perfectly cut OEC, and as the pictures show she fits into the group very well in many lighting situations. But after seeing all the stones loose and playing with them in different lighting, Bubbly’s color just stands out too much from the group. I think if there was variation in color among all the stones it would be fine, or if Bubbly had a stronger yellow body tint than the rest. But the other five stones are just so perfectly matched. All in the J-L range and all with a yellow undertone. Having one (likely) M faint brown in the bunch doesn’t work for me. I was always able to identify Bubbly in the group no matter how I mixed the stones up and I don’t like that. She’s especially noticeable in spot lighting.
^^ So as I mentioned in my project thread, I was considering a six-stone @lala646, but I'm not sure Bubbly (the newest OEC) totally works with the other diamonds...
But now I'm in a pickle. I submitted the form on ebay to initiate a return, and I said it was because the stone has a brown undertone and so it doesn't work for my project. And the vendor offered me a 20% refund to keep her. That would mean I paid $300 for a .53ct, beautifully cut, very clean OEC. And since I paid for her almost two months ago and the bills are all paid, that's basically free That's PS math right?

And if I return the diamond, after shipping I would be out like $70 USD and nothing to show for it.... That would mean I paid $300 for a .53ct, beautifully cut, very clean OEC. And since I paid for her almost two months ago and the bills are all paid, that's basically free That's PS math right?

I'm gonna keep her! I'll figure out what to do with her later lol. Never can have to many loose OECs floating around right?? (tagging my fellow hoarders @lala646 @maryjane04)
Has this group ever told someone to return something that wasn’t like, totally broken?? I need receipts if so.
Where is the buy nothing & cheapskates forum? I need to ask them.

I got the Assael pearl earrings. I think they're super fun but they're pretty uncomfortable and I think they look too big so they're going back!
I have super fine/flat hair and would feel too much need to do it to balance out these earrings and I'm lazy! I just don't see myself reaching for them.Ok I actually don’t think they’re too big, they look great on you! But I can understand why they’re uncomfortable, they look heavy. Very pretty tho!
My pearl ring is definitely a workout to wear! These earrings are 16.3g total which didn't seem thaaaaaat heavy but part of the issue is that my earlobes are thin and the backing doesn't hold on correctly for more support. I might be able to make it work with bling dots or something but between that and feeling like I would need to do my hair, etc., I was just kind of fighting to make something happen and I think jewelry that you buy on a whim should be easy!@newtojewels pearls are heavy aren’t they? I’m always a bit shocked by how heavy my pearl ring is.
Yes the proportions are not quite right. One circle of pearls would be better for daily wear IMO.
Back they go!! Is this a first??
Bump!
I just bought a pre-loved sapphire ring off Ebay and it will be awhile to get here because of the authentication. I love color change stones and I am pretty sure from the pics that the ring has a color change sapphire. The platinum/diamond setting was worth the asking price for the ring if it's as nice as it looks in the pic. The vendor has a no questions asked return policy.
If the sapphire is a color change sapphire I plan to remove it and make a Toi et Moi ring with the cc sapphire I have. And use the platinum setting for a blue spinel that sits in my gem box.
