Lovely!
The pearls should be high quality given the brand and also that they look good in TRR's terrible photography. They actually made a pave version too, so you can keep an eye out for those for yourself! They're a bigger diameter in addition to having the diamonds: https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/ear...ya-pearl-diamond-hoop-earrings/id-j_18950612/
If this is what costume jewellery looked like 'round my parts I'd be wearing a whole lot more of it!
These are fun! Refreshingly lighthearted My only question would be if they're comfy on the ears, I imagine they might weigh quite a bit, but you'd have to try them to find out
Yay, thanks for weighing in! I'm glad to have your seal of approval! The pave pair that's bigger is super heavy but the ones I got are supposedly 16.3g total which seems like it should be doable for occasional use -- but good call that I should give them a more significant wear at home to make sure.
And get a matching bracelet on Oakgem.........
That is a seriously cool band! The piercing geometrics <3
Soooooo Canada post has gone on strike. Usually, USPS delivery mail to the border customs, then once the item clears customs, Canada Post will deliver it. But they are on strike. My package is still in the US. I’ve tried to find out if USPS will work with a different delivery service or if it will return to sender or maybe it will just sit in a warehouse somewhere until the ends of time…
You're in MONTREAL TOO???!!
No, that is just where the package entered Canada. But my BIL lives in Montreal!

@winnietucker or @lala646 was asking about TRR at scrap. I just bought this at scrap (slightly under but with taxes/shipping it's pretty much spot on) - it's final sale but I think it's a great deal.
Anyone have any ideas on the maker? I'm getting Vendorafa vibes, but it could be anything. There should be some makers marks once it comes in person.
Welp. After all that waiting I think this was a risk that did not pay off. The diamond is graded J VVS1 by IGL which apparently means a monkey with a dartboard graded it I guess! The diamond is beautifully cut and very clean, which I love. But it has a noticeable brown tint. It’s actually pretty on its own. It ranges from a light champagne to a deep russet depending on the lighting. But it is noticeably different from my other diamonds.
The new stone is in the middle in all these photos between a GIA K and L.
Obviously the body tint is most noticeable face down.
In other situations it just look darker than the other stones.
It’s beautifully cut. I see what you mean about the color. Will you still keep it?

@Dreamer_D i really like it. I think they go well together and a slight variation in color is charming. Can you link me to the seller, please?
I’m unsure. I just pulled the other three diamonds out of the setting so I have six little half carat OEC babies loose I’ll post more pictures and thoughts over in my project thread.
I tend to agree!
Seller is starlight.diamonds. They have a number of old cuts but here’s the kicker: they are not labelled as old cuts lol So ya gotta hunt.
