I was recently looking for some .80 to 1 tcw stud earrings on Whiteflash, however, I've noticed that their inventory in these sizes is extremely low in colors J-K, and clarity VS1-VS2. Is that something that varies, or is it always that low? I have a set of their studs I would like to upgrade, but it doesn't look like there is much available in these particular combinations. Anyone could shed some light please?

Perhaps you should call WF and ask them? They would know best.

I am wondering if those are the most popular colour/clarity/carat size combinations, hence may sell out quickly?

WF always has new stock coming in - you may be able to 'pre-reserve' a pair if you call to check forthcoming inventory :)

BGD does do 'pre-reserve' on forthcoming stones, although you have to 'buy blind' because they don't have pictures, IIRC? I'd aim for VS1 if that is the case, as that should 99percent definitely be eye-clean, I reckon.

I think the inventory is always changing. If you’re getting tired of checking back to see if something has been added, you can “request a diamond” and WF will look to see if they have something coming and/or notify you when something comes along.

Thanks for your replies everyone.

Inventory is sporadic. They will custom cut anything from I VS2 or higher. I'm just not sure what the min. ct. weight is that they do.

Ask them if they have any stones coming in that fit your specs. Doesnt hurt to ask!

Hey @Texas Leaguer, care to throw in your 2 cents?
Yes, as @kmoro references we have a tool to set up alerts to automatically notify when a diamond matching specified criteria comes into stock. As @OoohShiny sugests, 80 and 90 ptrs are always fast movers. And as @tyty333 and @Jimmianne suggest, customers can also call in to see what is in the pipeline so that a high demand stone can be earmarked such that it does not go immediately to the site if someone has expressed serious interest in it.
