You all have named the obvious so I guess my mind is wandering... but,

The Waffle House Wedding

I can''t find the waffle house wedding (darn - I''m curious) but in searching for it I found this... hehehe...

https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/a-walk-down-memory-lane.111075/

BTW did Mrs Salvo ever pick something??
You won''t. It was taken down to protect the actual bride (not a member of this site) from coming across the thread in case it popped up on google, which it was.

You can google the actual news story, but you can''t see the thread anymore.

One of the most memorable threads for me was the one dreamer started for indygal. The amount of love, support, hope, and heartache felt in that thread by everyone on PS was amazing.

I wonder what I was smoking when I did those CADs? haha. I guess it was pre-wedding jitters that made me want to keep my hands busy!

That one was amazing to me. One of the dingaling posters no longer posts here. Another one who I thought was a dingaling has since redeemed herself and now I like her just fine.

Mind numbing. I think one of them tried to come back with a new SN as well, but it was obvious very quickly.

Oh my. The waffle house. Yeah that thread was a DOOZY. Glad it was deleted.

I was definitely involved on the wrong side of the Waffle House thread.

I'm embarassed of some of the things I said, but honestly... at the time I didn't realize that my pattern of thinking was wrong or judgmental. I get it now.

One of the things I'm thankful for about PS. Really changed my perspective. Took a couple of B&%$# slap threads to get me there, but definitely a lesson I had to learn.

Yup. I was there. Not cool, elle! Not cool!

But seriously - I look at things a LOT differently now. I still am in awe of how a "stupid message board" gave me that much perspective.

ETA: to be fair, i did not take it to the level she did, but I definitely said stuff that i absolutely shudder at now.

Erica... I'm not sure that it was odd when you drew the CAD's, you were just supplying to the demand of others... but when you added "Fire" to the diamonds, for me, that is when it took a whole new turn!

Well, since YOU''RE the *other* dingaling, I''m talking about, suffice it to say, yup, you were there!

And I don''t care what it was that gave you perspective...you certainly don''t seem the same person today as the one who posted on that thread. You seem so SENSIBLE now.

Yeah. It''s weird, but I just didn''t have a clue.

I''m ok with being a reformed dingaling. At least I got it together before DH and I reproduced... I''d feel terrible if I had raised another generation of dingalings without realizing it.

I think (almost) everyone has a snarky side to them, even if they appear very sweet on the outside. The nice thing about PS is that it's moderated (both by the mods and its members) so that people really can't go that overboard. In all fairness, my guess is that there might have been more people who raised their eyebrow at the photos on the WH thread. They just didn't say it. And the ones who didn't raise their eyebrows were kind enough to give the ones who did some good perspective.

And did I miss wedding photos somewhere? Didn't you just get engaged? Geez, where have I been?

Yeah, just needed a little straightening up.

Yeah we did just get engaged it seems! We threw the wedding together in 4 months. I''m glad we decided to just get it done. I hated being engaged, and can''t say enough good things about being married. I love it!

I didn''t really post any pictures yet. I still have about 2-4 weeks for pro-pics.
