What I love about PS...

The welcome I got when I joined all those years ago, including the advice and opinions on diamonds and settings, clear through the subsequent three iterations of my engagement ring. Not to mention the (many) other pieces that have come and gone since then!

The conversations that range from ACAs to the ACA, dogs and cats and giraffes, oh my! (wonder how April is doing?!), planes, trains and automobiles, life and death, marriage and divorce (including mine) and Ev. Re. Thing. in between.

The company PS provided when I was SO SO SO lonely all those months in Kansas City. If it weren't for PS (and Billy Ray. OH. And that rodeo clown... but I digress!) I would have Climbed The Wall.

The amazing friendships that have come from this site. I won't list anyone lest I forget someone, but you know who you are!

The fact that my lovely PSers will cheer me on on the Democratic side and still love me when I start banging a Republican.

The laughter and the tears; how many times I've LOL'd at something here... or truly been moved to weep.

Being the first site thing I look at in the morning and the last I click through jussssst one more time before I sleep.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg!

I made this!:lickout: Crocheting afghans is one of the few things I'm not modest about. I create some sick pieces but I always have to give them away bc there just isn't enough room for afghans in da house! Just a random comment bc I'm delirious from my 3rd load of laundry...:twirl:

(When I was in college marching band, he used to walk by our section on the way to/from the sideline at football games. It was a major plus.)
 
Oh wow, @MonkeysInk we must have been at UT at the same time. I used to play pool with him a lot and he helped me move! Lol, my mother can't believe how famous he got. She thought he was "cute" when he was moving furniture!

That’s awesome. He was already pretty famous when I was there (during the time of the bongo drums) - I definitely did not get any moving help from him!

I am definitely older than you then! He was not famous when I knew him - just a good old Texas frat boy, really nice regular guy but did seem to have a special quality. I was actually not too surprised he made it big.

My entire family is born and bred Texan. Except my poor son who was born in North Carolina in the few tears that I left Texas. We always tell him that since he was baptized in Texas, he is alright in the eyes of God!;)2

What I love about Pricescope - the people. We are a diverse group of varying opinions and somehow it all works. But all are so interesting. There is not a boring person in the bunch. When someone is down, or hurting or struggling, there are a hundred people offering support, comfort and virtual hugs. Most would give you a hand up if they could or in the very least a shoulder to lean on. The very best kind of community of friends.
