Nope, don't touch this one! IGI isn't as trusted as GIA or AGS, so you are likely getting overcharged for a diamond that isn't accurately graded (e.g. it says its an H, but it might actually be an I/J).

I can't in good conscience recommend JA anymore. Their customer service is garbage (see recent threads). If you tell us your budget and desired specs we can help you!

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at JA because of the 25 percent off settings... open to others though.. I recently did a post about princess cut but can’t find it for some reason. I’m looking for a princess cut and our budget is 3,400 max for diamond or less then 4K for total including sales tax and setting haha. I went with this diamond because of the measurements being on the larger side

Yeah, the measurements are larger, but the grading being potentially inaccurate means you might be paying for something that isn't true, which = overpaying.

The issue with princess cuts is that they face up SO SMALL for their ct weight. You really won't get much "bang for your buck" with a princess vs. other shapes (unfortunately). You can certainly find a great princess stone that's under 1ct, but likely won't find one over 1ct that's well cut in your budget

Whiteflash "a cut above" are ideal cut princess stones. But the precision cutting increases the price.

Thank you for the information. Would blue Nile be more trustworthy? Should I stick to color h and up, very good to ideal cut and Gia report on my search? A bit of an overwhelming process haha the help is much appreciated

I'm terrible with princess cuts, unfortunately. Much better with rounds. Overall, stick to GIA reports (avoid IGI and EGL)! BN is well-regarded, but usually doesn't have ASET/IS images like WF does. But there are others on here who are amazing with fancy/princess cuts who hopefully can come along to help!

Did a quick look around...Most of the bigger ones have an ugly inclusion right in the middle of the table

Oh no.. thanks for the lookout! What do you think of this? I see a black mark on corner but thinking maybe a prong can hide that ugly thing.. ugh this is tough
