Wedding band w/3 stone rings--need pics--am I crazy?!

Hi!!

I Know I want a three stone ring--all rounds w/center stone .9-1.3 carats, but I am totally unsure about wedding bands that go with it!

Please share your pics! I am open to all types of combos. Would love pics of gold bands with platinum, white gold, or 10k gold e-rings. Have you ever seen different metals that looks good together? I think I want an unconventional combo!

Also, I am thinking of getting TWO wedding bands--one solid gold, one eternity band--and swap them out depending what activity I'm doing. Is this a silly idea? Be honest!

If you have a eternity wedding band, do you feel like you an wear it anywhere?

With a three stones ring you can wear both a plain gold band and an eternity diamond band...having two wedding bands is neither silly nor weird.

Not silly at all, I think having two bands is a great idea depending on what the day brings! I have two plain bands, two engraved bands, and an eternity I wear with my 3 stone. A girl needs variety!

Thanks, MissGotRocks - I was just admiring your rings earlier today! My stone is 2.4ct, H / SI2, Ideal + H&A. I don't have the numbers on me at the moment, but I have been very happy with it!

The main reason I'm looking into a reset is because my current setting was made for a smaller center stone (my stone is forced to sit up way too high). I also love the look of a cushion shape on my hand, so I will likely do a cushion shaped halo around my current stone...hopefully Victor Canera's Donna or Emilya setting!

Your stone looks beautiful - a halo for that stone would be some major hand presence! Would you wear a band with it or would it be a stand alone ring?

I love the pictures posted above. I like to play around and change my band from time to time, I have a collection of them. Currently, I am wearing a plain 18K rose gold comfort-fit band with my 14K yellow gold wedding set for a wide look. Other times, I wear diamond eternity bands with it. I like the look of mixing metal colors.

I have a set that sounds similar to what you want.

My E-ring center stone is 1.51 and the sides are .24/25 each. I have an eternity band and an 18k rose gold band (wish I got 14k) that I alternate - I rarely wear all three together. I don't like the way my eternity band is set though so I'm thinking of getting a different one for our first anniversary.

This is my first post so I hope I'm doing it right
