Upgrading to ACA

Agree with SimoneDi, if your budget allows I would jump up to the 1.5.

The ACA you have reserved looks lovely, but I would echo @kathness in considering the CBIs as well. The first one posted (HPD10435) is similar in size to the ACA you are considering but I prefer the smaller table in the HPD stone (56.4% vs. 57% in the ACA). This is admittedly just my personal preference, though! If you let us know your budget we can help you find the best options!

Congrats on your upcoming upgrade!

The 1.3 H VS1 looks lovely, but I would encourage you to also consider this option: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4081358.htm

It is a 1.5 H SI1 very eye clean and the clarity allows for a nice size increase.

Was your original stone from WF?

One more vote for this option! It also has a smaller table, which I prefer, tho this is a personal thing.

The stone @SimoneDi posted is considerably larger, and would look lovely on a 5.5 finger.

I don't think anyone not wearing a cape in their second job would be able to see the difference between a 56.4% table and a 57% table ;))

FWIW (and IIRC...) my good lady's CBI is 57% table and there are NO issues with fire! :D

LOL; you make a great point! (And truthfully this comment was probably just the OEC lover in me coming out as I love smaller tables!) But as I said, it really is all personal preference. The CBI in my e-ring has a 55.4% table, which I absolutely LOVE, but I just purchased studs with 56.6% tables and they are equally gorgeous, just a slightly different look. So I wholeheartedly agree that 57% tables are wonderful!

In any case, the stones that have been mentioned thus far all look lovely. If the OP could give us some idea of budget we can come up with a nice range of options for an upgrade!

:errrr:Looks like OP already bought the stone she posted. Hope she comes back to post pics.

My old stone was .91 WF PS GIAXXX in color G.
Posting photos of my new WF ACA 1.3 color H
I think my GIA G was “whiter”. I miss the fire in the G.
I am happy with my ACA I can see a difference in performance, although I noticed that in the sun it’s dark in the middle. Is that normal for a superideal?

Setting is Vatche Charis 2mm.

It looks very white to me and is very balanced throughout the stone. Super ideal cut stones do go dark in sunlight so no worries there. I think it is beautiful!

Beautiful diamond and setting! And yes, most well cut MRBs will go dark in direct sunlight (or very intense spotlighting) and will put out a lot of fire in such lighting. Perfectly normal.

Congrats on your upgrade!

Beautiful ring! congrats!

Beautiful Ring. Looks very white.
