Tips and hints for purchasing a yellow diamond for engagement ring?

Is wearing a band flush a big deal? Yes you couldn't wear it flush. Depends if you care. I prefer a gap

Just to add to Neil's comment, I actually like small gaps, too, but I still dislike those baskets. I do not mind when there is a donut, I even like the look. Like this:

I don't really think it's a dealbreaker one way or the other to be honest. It's not anything I've thought deeply about or have strong feelings on.

Hi All,
Can we agree that all of us who participate on PS regularly intend to assist consumers? In other words, we're all on the same side.
The rules against self-promotion don't only apply to site sponsors, they apply to ALL vendors.
As a vendor, I do have concerns about specific DBL questions and comments- it's a great place to learn about what people like and don't like. Regardless, I make every effort to follow the rules.
Is a vendor answering a question here good or bad for consumers? Good question and we may not all feel the same way. IMO, having both consumers' and trade input benefit readers.

Pretty much all of what I wrote applies to cast rings versus hand forged, no matter who makes them. Anyone is free to say what bothers them about our rings or anyone else's. I do think that being specific about why the quality of anyone's ring is bad in your opinion will help the person asking. Hopefully you guys carry on and assist the OP
Answering generally is obviously good. Dont pretend to be ignorant to what my concerns were to try and prove your point. You know discussing the exact setting from YOU that she is asking if she should buy is against policy.

Here's my wedding ring IMG_20170607_161915.jpg IMG_20170607_104917.jpg IMG_20170607_074217.jpg IMG_20170607_161652.jpg IMG_20170607_162145.jpg

Another thought. I feel like JA is generally well respected here (at least when it comes to colorless diamonds), but are they generally ok for settings as well? Another option would be to have them set it (either buying from Enchanted, or having JA obtain the stone).

I prefer DK's work and I think that he will give you a better quote. Why don't you just call the office?

That probably is the best way to get hold of him. I'll give him a call to follow up on my email :)

Just give him some time I'm sure he's barely back from Los Vegas

I think you meant to posts this on another thread? That ring is blingalicious!

I'm sorry! I didn't realize. Thank you so much. Was just looking for places to share
