Thoughts on this before I order??

JA also lists that oval, here's the link to the JA video - https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/oval-cut/0.80-carat-f-color-vvs2-clarity-sku-5324826
- to me the bowtie is prominent in the video, but FWIW the bowtie also seems obvious in the B2C photo image...

Is there another one through B2C that you can suggest or elsewhere that would have a minimal bowtie?? My budget is up to $2500, D-F color and up to SI1 eyeclean. My current oval is 7.54x5.01 so I would like a little bigger in terms of length and width.

I don't think your budget aligns with your color & dimension preferences ... in other words, at your budget, I don't think you'll find a D-F/SI1+ diamond with dimensions larger than 7.5 x 5mm. I did look at JA but with your budget & specs, the results were all smaller than 7.5 x 5mm.

If I were you, I'd save up more money and then go the August Vintage Inc.'s website for an Opulent Opal - they are gorgeous well-cut ovals with no bowtie.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I don't think a bowtie is always a bad thing. A dark black line from several angles is obviously not good, but there are plenty of beautiful ovals out there that have minimal bowtie.

I'd relax your parameters a bit for color to include near colorless. Adiamor has some and they have video 3D also. As long as there's a return option you can always order one or more and evaluate them.

I do not like this oval. The non-bowtie facets are mushy and the bowtie is obvious.
