I was just outside in the back yard and I can''t believe the arrows shooting off of this thing!

Sweet DH is now acting like he knows all about gemstones: he said to me as I''m watching my hand: "that sparkle is the result of a good cut, isn''t it?"....I said yes, but it''s more because of JEFF WHITE!

Way back when (in the olden days of 1987) I wasn''t the least bit interested in a diamond e-ring. So we had decided to get nothing....then one day I saw the sapphire in the window of a store at the mall and was hooked!

Last year sweet DH decided to buy me the 3-stone door-knocker as a ''consolation'' prize. Once I slipped it on my e-ring finger, I realized how wrong that was for me. Not that I''d give the door knocker back of course....it just got moved over to the RH!

(hey, I''m picky but not stupid!)

Hey Linda: someone over in SMTR said that it''s not rain on the pic of the sapphire in the box: it''s DROOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, very little in the form of work took place today...I let all of my staff come in and play in my office. We have jewellry cleaning parties occasionally too: I bring in my US and everybody''s rings get a bath!

I don''t think I''ve EVER seen sparkles in a sapphire before! But it sure adds another dimension to the stone.

Where do I start??? Everything about that ring is beautiful....the sapphire is to die for (but you know I have been a fan of that stone), the diamonds are beautiful, and the setting is so well done. You know what, it was raining when I took home my ring, I thought it was cool, because you see all the sparkle.
