I don''t have any more images to add just yet, I just wanted to ask Ms Ellen''s sage advice on how she captures her fire so well.
Ellen, I have a couple pics in my "intro" thread for my new ring over in RT, but I really want to get some winning photos before I add to this thread or others.
Do you have any tips? As in, do you adjust the settings at all on your camera? higher or lower ISO, shutter speed, all that stuff?
I''m a camera newbie, but would love to learn..
please divulge your firey secrets!

I''m sorry, I didn''t see this til now, and answered you in the other thread. But, to answer these, no, I don''t do anything special. Just put it on automatic focus, macro on, flash off. Nuttin special!

Thank you to everyone for their compliments on my fiance''s ring! I haven''t had a chance to take more pictures in the sun, but I plan to this weekend. I''ll post them in a new thread when I do. If I get any more good fire shots, I''ll add them to the collection here
