I was glued to the TV, so I wasn''t following along here for a while. Virginia wasn''t looking good for my candidate (Obama) as I watched states totals for the two candidates. It turns out, however, that northern Virginia is more pro-Obama and it hasn''t been counted yet. The south, more pro-McCain, has been counted. So the state may still go for Obama. Now I''m on the edge of my seat. I have to run to the other room. See you again in a while!

I''ve been a weird emotional wreck all day...even though I didn''t think I would be. I voted against our Sheriff, which was the right thing to do, but it still made me feel bad.
And I don''t know....I felt really bad for Hillary when she lost lost in the primaries, and now I feel really bad for McCain because I just feel like he deserves it so much for all that he''s done for our country, and it was his last chance. Sigh.

I just wish everybody could win! I''m speaking strictly on an emotional level. The truth is I would have felt sad for Obama if he lost too, because I know how much this means to him. To all of them.
I guess we''re lucky in that so many people have such great visions for our country.
Anyway....I''ll be back later.

BF and I are sitting here constantly checking on VA. He voted absentee in Charlottesville, and we both love it up there. He said he voted there to make his vote count more...and yet NC is in play, too.
