Does anyone have any rose gold pieces in Stuller settings? Do you find their rose gold is particularly yellow or does it match nicely to other rose gold pieces you have?

context: I just received some rose gold earrings and the setting appears yellow to me. Like a deeper brassy yellow but I do not have any yellow gold to compare it to so I don’t know what to think. The backings are a perfect rose gold but the setting itself is not. Is this a Stuller thing maybe? Granted, only the tips of the prongs even show when I wear them but I didn’t get that super excited feeling when I saw them that I normally get when unpacking new jewels. The retailer is amazing and I know they will make it right, but out of pure curiosity, I’m trying to understand what may have happened here.

I feel like those setting may not be rose gold... Unless the camera is playing tricks (which is possible with jewelry), they look yellow

yeah, the tips of the posts are rose and the closer your get to the diamond, the yellower it gets. Makes me think it was heating or a chemical or something. If it was the opposite (the basket being pink and the post being yellow), I could live with it. I’m beginning to think I was never meant to have diamond studs

What karat rose gold are they?
The 18k rose is more yellow than the 14k. All my 14k rose gold from stuller is a true rose.

This isn’t the best picture, but the earring mounts are stuller 18k rose vs 14k rose hoop earring.

They are 14k rose and are marked as 14k. I compared them to an 18k I have from Tiffany and they are even a little yellower than those pieces

That’s definitely weird. It doesn’t look like their 14k rose at all.

They look full on yellow to me.

I own plenty of 18K rose gold and a 14K rose gold. There is a difference between the 14k and 18k but those most definitely look yellow.
