Split shank setting

Hi!! Just wondering if anyone has ever had a split shank setting but WITHOUT diamonds/pave?

I love the split shank look, but want to avoid making it too pricey.

All the settings I have seen online which are split shank have pave...

Am I looking for a unicorn?

I think a metal split shank with a halo would be pretty.

Here are my split shanks. Just to give you an idea as these are with coloured stones. First and last are custom made by David Klass and the ones in the middle are by Alistair Kelsey. You can use engraving if you want some decoration.

What are the specs of your stone and what is your budget?

are you looking for a split shank with a halo or without? Stuller has some that are plain metal with no halo but I didn't see one with a halo and plain shank, although I looked quickly.

New to the community... currently researching engagement rings myself...found a few options, ive chatted with a bunch of the reps online from all diff internet companies, notice quite a few will do custom option, jamesallen.com didnt seem that workable in terms of custom which it seems like you may want, I am debating a custom design or simply going with a classic, after chatting seemed like Rockher.com was the least expensive in terms of a custom ring, does anyone have experience with them, I saw a lot of reviews but it seems like a new company -

i ran into a similar problem, initially wanted a split shank but if you *don't* have a halo the ring may not be wide enough to do a wider split. here's one i had considered before i decided no on the halo.




i think that's why you see split shanks on fashion jewelry b/c the stones tend to be larger so they have the width and actually need the split shank to fit better and help avoid spinning.

Adiamor (a PS sponsor) has several split-shank settings that

• are available for radiant center stones;
• have the wider split I think you are hoping for (and should be feasible -- if your ring size isn't eensy --since your radiant is not a small stone); and
• also have plain shanks
