Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

@twosanguinehearts Gorgeous! But if it doesn’t make your heart sing I’d return it. I also wouldn’t clean it if you are going to return it. The junk might be the only thing keeping those loose diamonds in place.

Has anyone bought from The Antique Parlour on eBay? Any idea how much discount they usually accept for offers?

I haven't, but I love their pieces! They are usually too expensive for me, but so special. The owner is active on IG, so you could message her to ask about a potential discount!

I have not, but I think there is discount for wire. It doesn't hurt to ask! They are SO expensive though imho.

Sorry for the delay, I was traveling! Just got back this weekend.

The bands arrived while I was gone and they are lovely! The metal of the French-cut band is really worn down, though, and the stones might be best as salvage. I really like them but I have my eye on another purse right now so I may return.

I saw a spess diamond ring two days ago and now I can’t find it - even in sold. I was going to link Both. When you say gone - was it you? :evil2:

I wish! No, I went to look at it, and it was sold.

It looks very pretty! The tag thing has happened to me multiple times also and the first time or two I told them but then I just started ignoring it. I actually like it when they do it because then you can actually tell how the ring fits. Even a small little tag can make a difference. Are they all brilliant or are there some old cut in there?

Also, we need the Tiffany setting thread!

Good to know they took yours back even without notifying! I haven’t been able to get my loupe out yet, but some of them look like old cuts. They’re all pretty white which is nice! Yes on Tiffany, I know that’s the one I’m slacking on.

@twosanguinehearts does it fit your middle finger? Would you stack it? A little extra size can be nice in an eternity you plan to keep for decades

Not my middle, but it’s a tight fit on my pointer. You make a good point about it fitting for years to come. It’s not grossly oversized, or at risk of flying off, just looser than I would have expected.

It truly is a gorgeous band!! I really love it - I think the slightly large sizing and the fact that it’s likely vintage vs. antique is making me question it. It would be a hard one to send back though… things to consider!

It’s so pretty! When you say worn down do you mean the part in the back? Bc the pics you show - it doesn’t look particularly worn. But sometimes pics are hard to capture details.

Yes, I mean the metal band. I think you can kind of see in the stock pictures - the back of the French-cut is very thin.

It is absolutely lovely but yes, the back part will snap anytime.

Hi! I'm embarrassed to ask this, but TRR purchases items and then resells them? Or are there individual sellers like 1st Dibs?

You could reshank. If you love the rings otherwise.

Just sent you something on IG.

Thank you!! Omg, they do exist! And the one you sent me is EXACTLY the color and that culet!!! But sadly I think I need a closer to 1.5-2ct for my project, but I’m so worried I won’t find another one…. Ugh! Ok, I have to think on this.
THANK YOU!

Am I blind, or does the listing say 8 stones despite only having 4??

I think there are two on each shoulder, but my readers are in the other side of the office … and I’m eating, and the food is SOOOOO GOOD, so not moving

There are four big ones and four smaller ones on the shoulders?

you're totally right! The smallest stone on the shoulder was hard to see, and I was confused and thought that the 4 stones were the 1ct.
