For anyone who's interested, I put in an offer, and they countered at $4,649, so 7% off.
Are you going to counter-offer?

Seems like a good price for a diamond that size with a great cut.
That's so pretty! Pretty much Summer Dream's twin. I paid almost $5,000 for essentially the same size and specs (1.49 J SI1), so that's a good price. I hope someone snags it.
I wonder how much repair work would need to be done to make that lotus daily wearable safe again, pave wise. Does it already look like another bench had a try, idk. Maybe I’m off base.
Love it tho!

What are you seeing that I'm not? I don't see any issues with the pave but I'm sure I'm missing something.
The shank pave prongs are askew on the eBay listing photos. It’s not askew in the LM archive photos that they are saying is the exact ring from when produced. ( If that is the case - the maker/metal stamps don’t match up between the photos either.)
Those prongs holding the center stone also don’t look the same as compared to what they claim is original photos. Especially side view.
What would cause those pave prongs to go askew over the years and how sturdy /reliable is it now - and if not, what work would need to be done to get it safe to be a daily wear - is where my mind goes if I were to jump at buying this ring.
I mean I love it and it’s my size and all - lol. Those changes I see are an ice cold bucket o water splashed on my feverish want.

The loose stone didn't pass eBay authentication for whatever reason. I wonder if they will relist it with different specs. I wasn't given the chance to accept it at a discount or anything, they just refunded the amount.
I agree it definitely looks worn longer than a month or it was a VERY rough month LOL. Center stone looks set higher too. Thank you all for pointing everything out! Considering it's still $1500 less than the comparable ACA, it may be worth it to the right person.

In the past people have called the authentication people to learn why something didn’t pass. Maybe do that first?
They already shipped it back. I got the refund notice and the return shipment to seller all at once.
I probably shouldn't spend right now anyway, so I guess the universe wanted to help me?
