Hello All.

I've been pretty absent lately, but thought I'd post a few pics of the jewelry I've designed and made. To bring anyone up to speed - was a lawyer until December...now I'm an aspiring jewelry designer/maker. I'm working exclusively in silver, as I clearly don't have the skills to work in anything more expensive

Anyway, here is a Holey Ring:

I left it matte and I think it looks a bit more natural and organic that way...

Kaleigh - Thank you too! I have so so much to learn. I''m taking three classes a week. Learning about lost wax casting, wire jewelry, and a fabrication class. Fun stuff!

Mike and Coati - Thanks for the kind words! I''m going to try to create a pendant that utilizes the same texture as the earrings...And I already see so many things to improve on every piece I''ve finished. Drives me a bit crazy!

WOW, that''s so cool that you are creating jewelry and doing what you want. IT ''s so nice to have a job where you can be creative and have fun and do what you love.

I always wanted to be a professional chef and/or real estate agent, but I am a nurse instead.

I really like the pendant that looks like a butterfly wing. Did you want to make it into a butterfly wing or did you just make it and then realize that it looked like it.

You are truly gifted, Lysser! I would love to see more of what you've done.

And I am so glad to see the French wires on the earrings. I know the fishhooks are popular, but I seem to lose an earring every time I buy a pair with fishhooks. Give me butterfly backs or French wires any day!

Butterfly - Actually it was going to be an entirely different pendant all together! But as I was working with the wax, it sort of became something different.
