Sevens One, I don''t take my necklace off, except to clean it weekly. Personally, I''ve come to find that my .82 carat diamond doesn''t look a whole lot bigger than a half carat pendant. Of course if you compare side by side, there is a difference but on their own, the impact is quite similar. What are the specs on your diamond? It looks awesome. Are you going to get a stationary pendant or a sliding one?

Oops, I just read your earlier posts and found out your diamond is a 0.466 J. My diamond is a J too, and any off color is sooo not noticeable at all on the neck.

Waaah!!!! I wish I had a pic to post. But my diamond STILL isn''t mounted (that''s what happens when the engineers get involved, it''s never perfect enough to complete!)

Here''s the necklace I got for my birthday in december. Its pretty small at .27 ct, but I think a good size for my stature and age (i''m only 19). I dont know the exact specs b/c its not a certified stone, but its from GOG and is supposed to be H&A and J/K in color (I like warmer stones) and SI3 in clarity. The stone looks very white in most lightings and semi-yellow in others. I can''t see any inclusions with just my eyes. Its very sparkly, but doesn''t really show it in this picture

. I haven''t mastered the camera skills yet! But anyway, I really like it and it is quite firey! Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for your kind compliments.

When I first bought this loose stone, I had no idea what type of setting I wanted till doing some surfing from the internet and narrowed down to 2.

As I did not want to stick to 1 type of chain when wearing this pendent, so this setting had to be custom made with the loop being slightly bigger than it should be. So now, I can use either snake chain or the one that you seen in the picture.

I used to have another pendent ( H&A) G SI1 0.36 with the same setting as tomatoe but secretly wanted an even bigger honker.... Now this 0.36 has found a new home wth 2 'friends' living practically next door to each other ..had it reset with another 2 smaller H&A stones (0.19 each) as a trilogy ring.

Had to thank tomatoe again for all her help in taking those lovely digital pictures for me. She's ever so helpful and nice to me...
