me does a happy dance!!!!Done and went without a hitch. All being equal from this point on, I'll be discharged this afternoon. Waiting for i/v's and arterial line to be removed. A reasonably painful procedure, but necessary.
For all your prayers and warm wishes - bless you all. I appreciated it more than words can say.

And here's my "2cm" incision. 2cm. Oh really?
Ow. Serious ow.
As it turns out, they found 2 clots in the blood flow. Both would have caused me a stroke. I am one very, very blessed woman. I realized my situation was precarious, but none of us realized how precarious it was.

Can I just say - if anyone has dizziness, ringing in their ears, or ANY changes to their vision - don't avoid your doctor! Take this as a PSA. It saved my life - and I was being investigated for something totally different. I had great doctors, tho, and they found something that definitely would have killed me, had it been left unaddressed. I consider myself blessed beyond measure.
So - again - PSA:
Have great doctors. See them regularly. Don't die.
CAKE FOR EVERYONE!
@mrs-b That incision will heal beautifully..I had a really nasty looking scar across the front of my neck. It doesn’t look bad at all now. The scar eventually will turn a very pale color which blends in to your skin. XO
