Thinking of you. Please update us when you have a minute and are feeling up to it.

Well, siiiiigh. It's fairly spectacular, and bright red. But not due to a detached retina, apparently. I'll see someone else today to look into the possibility of it being due to blood thinners plus raised BP plus possible increased pressure in the *other* carotid artery. It was the other one that got the stent 3 weeks ago, but it's possible the change in pressure has dislodged something and caused a blockage in the right one (it's the right eye that's gone red and the left one that got the stent). Headache and slightly dizzy today - which is worrying.

Home tho, so that's good.

Big hugs Mrs B. This must feel never ending & a bit shit. Fingers crossed it's a freaky thing & nothing serious.

@mrs-b Hope the cause of this is found soon. Is it affecting your sight at all?

Thank you, ladies (and Karl_K!)

It's a subconjunctival hemorrhage, which has nothing to do with a detached retina and won't affect my eyesight - so - good news from that direction. But the concern is that it's somehow connected to the pulsatile tinnitus that I have, which may be linked to a blocked jugular artery, the other carotid artery, or one of the large veins in the brain. They originally thought it was due to the blocked carotid, and they hoped the stent might have healed it. But it didn't, so now they're thinking jugular et al. The risk is stroke (tho blindness is also a risk, which is why the hemorrhage had to be investigated), but - miraculously - my bp is good, so it's probably one more thing linked to my back issues. I'll have to follow through on it (because - hey! - I did *have* a spare 15 minutes this month NOT dedicated to seeing drs or going to hospital!) - as it can be serious - but fingers crossed that this is one thing that isn't going to be a big problem.

Fingers (legs and feet crossed!) that this isn’t a major problem, mrs-b.
You are both a medical mystery and miracle! I greatly admire your tenacious spirit...warrior queen indeed!! Warmest of hugs to you, mrs-b❤️❤️❤️

@springerspaniel -

He really is spectacularly beautiful, isn't he? He's going to be a BIG champion, as soon as the show circuit re-opens!

And here is Ballin - our Irish Red and White Setter - also 2 years old. Cirrus is currently out with his dad, so Ballin is spending some quality time with him mommy. <3
