.83 ct. just about 5.4 x 5.4 mm. She is deep.

Thank you, I've got a .63 that I am trying to decide between using for a necklace or a ring so just getting size reference ideas, thanks!

That's killer - top and bottom. I love the detail underneath.
Have you published specs on this?

Thank you! I haven't posted the specs but it I got the diamond a few years ago in an antique setting and decided to change it up quite a bit. It's not a certed stone and is estimated to be O-P in color and is 2ct. :)

Huge gorgeous diamond and I can't get enough of that bezel and the milgrain. Or is it a halo, not a bezel? Brushed finish?
I have an .82 ct. O-P RB coming, looking for setting inspiration.

I'm not sure if they call it a halo (just sans diamonds) or a bezel haha. I think I would just say bezel. And yes it is a satin finish. I did start a thread when I was looking for some CAD ideas so that might help you with your inspiration:

I went thru the entire thread. Many many thoughtful - and educated - suggestions but it seems most of your original design prevailed. I just love your ring. When my O-P arrives, I'll reach out to Daniel M., see how to compensate for size and scale.
You gave a bit of your ancestry and now your cat looks Gallic to me.

I did? I mentioned my Irishness? I don’t remember. Can’t wait to see your stone when it arrives!

I thought you mentioned Louisiana, I could be wrong.
I'm a sucker for black and white cats and your character looks like, "Is your house red estate bottled?"

Omg haha I read Gaelic for some reason haha and my grandad was from Belfast. Anyway yes I have family in LA and my husband is from New Orleans. I lived there for a few years. So that’s a reason I like the fleur de lis.

Whoa! Are these Quadex stones? Can I see the side view? This is stunning.

Thanks @dmack! These are mined cushion stones ranging from .61ct to .66ct G/H VS2-VVS2. Total weight is 3.2ct - it’s a big ring with full finger coverage! (This is the first time I can say I am lucky to wear a size 8…) I was targeting .45-.50ct stones but couldn’t find cushions with H&As that were mined in that range. It sparkles like mad! I love driving and seeing fire from the open side profile! Here’s the side view from DK as well as a couple other pics (I feel like it looks a little less chunky in person).

Thanks! It doesn’t even look clunky in the pics. I love the profile!

You have a handful of gorgeous there. diamondhoarder got me interested in that cut and I think in settings like yours here, they just have so much more impact than RBs. And that setting is perfect.
Are you saying where they came from?
