Thank you all!

I call them my "nowhere to go" collection! :roll2: :lol-2:

I have a cocktail named after me by a friend when he was the bar manager at my favourite cocktail bar in Bath:

Your cocktail looks super yummy @dk168 and how flattering to have it named after you!

I went to the bar rather too often since 2011, and made nibbles and cakes for the staff whenever I could, and got to know some of them quite well, including the said bar manager.

Not been back as often since I changed jobs and started to work from home in September 2019, and not since C19 as they are a hot spot being a city with 2 universities!

It is a bit too early for cocktails for me (it is midday), however, I have started making one of my seasonal favourites at home earlier this week, as in Snowball!

Not in pint glasses like I used to, using a full 330ml can of 7-Up or Sprite as I need to cut down on sugar. So I am buying 150ml mini cans of Sprite instead, and make it in half pint glasses.

Normal garnish is a cocktail cherry or two, or three!

I LOVE a Snowball or three! I get through a jar of cherries in one night:shock:

If such a thing as cocktail earrings existed this would be the photo in the dictionary next to the term.

Do you have a favourite DK? Did you have all of these beautiful rings made & did you design them all yourself?=)2

Do you wear your cocktail rings when you are enjoying cocktails?

And yes I would like to know as well. All of your rings are stunning. I love the Ruby double halo. Swoon❤️

The most sentimental would be the heart cut Ruby in a diamond halo in platinum, as it is the ring bought for me by my late partner.

Not sure if I have a favourite as such, however, it cheered me up having them out for this glamour shot to be taken for certain!

The Tahitian and the White South Sea pearl rings were bought as ready made ring from eBay vendors years ago in early 00s at very good prices. Sadly, they don't have that kind of stock anymore.

The baroque Sea of Cortez pearl was bought during the 2016 pearl ruckus in LA directly from Douglas of Cortez Pearl fame, and set in a setting purchased in the LA's Diamond District and set there and there.

The sugar loaf/cabochon Ruby in a diamond cluster setting is my mum's, now mine.

The rest are made with stones bought by myself (except for the diamond melees), and set in rings to my design specifications.

@missy yup, I would wear one of my better pieces from this lot when I visit that cocktail bar.

I would take a few with me when I stay in that city for a few days, one for every evening!

I have not spent more than a day trip there lately, which is a shame.

I would wear one of these whenever I go for a dressier event, e.g. a nice restaurant and a theatre trip etc...

They are a bit OTT for just going to the local pubs or restaurants and grocery shopping, which is the norm nowadays.

I love this thread! Thanks for the fun dreamy escape @Made in London
Here is my cocktail ring with an oec diamond, bought with the purpose of being my cocktail ring! I've always loved the nostalgia of the cocktail ring and bought it for the special dinners out with my hubby, theater and friends and family gatherings.
And then we have my pink spinel honeymoon ring set in retro feminine DKJ setting. And then my lavendar spinel set in classic Maytal hannah halo setting.
Missy that black opal is the ultimate cocktail ring! And wow @dk168 I love your collection!734105737350791994791160737378

Without starting a new thread what's a dress ring
that's how mum described her 3 stone saphire and diamond ring she left my sister
By our (family) standards it was very big and impressive
But not a cocktail ring

I always thought they were a large ornate attention drawing ring usually coloured stones a woman brought herself and had origins in the probation period

Excuse my spelling or auto
correct or something

I don’t have many large rings that could be considered cocktail rings. I added Ashlee because I could wear her on my right hand as a cocktail ring.

Please keep pics of your fabulous cocktail rings coming!

I just have this one. When I was young and broke I sold the gold setting but kept the stone. I had it reset in silver a few years ago.
