Don''t they block out light from getting to the diamond though?

I was worried about that too. Actually, since most bezel settings allow for the bottom of the diamond to be exposed more light gets through than in a prong setting where the bottom of the stone is covered by the crown. In my case, it looked like a brand new, better, stone in the new setting. People at work keep asking me if I got a bigger, clearer stone. There is so much brilliance and sparkle now I am practically blinded!

WOW ladies. Looks like JM, Whiteflash and Heart of Water do bezels very very nicely....anyone else I should consider spending my kid's college fund with.

I'm not sure I can resist if I finish looking thru this whole thread. I may just have to step away from the computer!

As some of you know I just reset my original e-ring in a James Meyer setting. It took me five years to discover that bezel is my favorite setting and I now love looking at all the different bezels out there. Please post pictures of all the bezels you love.

Thanks Lovechild! I am really happy with it. I don''t even miss my old ring. We ended up keeping for the near future but if we found a good buyer I might even sell it since I love my JM so much. It feels like the ring that I should have had all along and I am thrilled!
