I spent a magical day in NYC, which included a visit to VCA. I have never been to the NYC location before. It was a great experience- champagne, chocolate, trying on the A Cheval necklace and ring!
I tried on various Alhambra pieces- but when the SA showed me the Magic WG Onyx necklace- I knew it was for me. I recently achieved a personal goal, and this was a great way to celebrate.

What a lovely souvenir (a flagship exclusive piece)! We need a neck shot, please!

Congrats on meeting your personal goal, too!

I love this piece for you LLJsmom. I think it works so well with your complexion and your wardrobe. And you got such a pretty one!! Yours has lots of blue that goes all the way to the edge - a really peaceful and comforting colour

I think bracelets and earrings in this colour would be super popular

Thank you! I was very excited for this necklace. I like the versatility with the length, and it is such a different look than my VA pendants that I normally wear.

VCA can make a t-shirt look good :)

Oh wow, I love this! The onyx and WG look so crisp and striking together.

Wanted to update this forum too. Added two rings that I absolutely love wearing and a holiday pendant. As an aside, I guess these were two rings really good buys because I reach for them all the time.
Some times I get too caught up in acquiring and don’t stop to enjoy them. There is enough here for a variety of combos. Time to shop my own closet for a while.

I'm living for these family pics

OMG. You have a lot. But you don't just have a lot, you have so many cohesive and coordinating pieces!! Strong colours, neutral colours, pave and plain metal, they all work together and when I look at this layout and see a #Collection

Pictures like this make me think about the pieces I'm acquiring and how they do - or don't - work together... I think mine could use more cohesion, honestly. My wishlist is going vagabond on me. Time to curate! I'd love to see some family pics with the other metals if/when you're able ❤️

You're completely right about the chalcedony being a calming foil for the stronger colours. The carnelian + chalcedony + diamond perlee is my favourite stack but I like them all. That shade of carnelian is just TDF. Wow, they did right by you with that SO.

I wonder if they'd ever use a green stone the colour of that suede? That would be stunning in YG. I'd wear that

Thank you @yssie. They are easy to mix and match now that they’re all in front of me. They are all wearable so I am happy about that, Even the HPs that I rarely wear.

Your collection is very cohesive to me. All your perlee bangles are in RG. Your RDN earrings are MOP and YG. Your cosmos are WG pave which are a standalone pair. I have to go back to your thread for all your earrings. They all look like they can be worn with any of your bracelets or bangles. Someday I wanna see your letterwood necklace. I love that piece. And your Frivole bangle goes with everything too. Your pieces are more unique but all still
Cohesive.

Thanks. I lucked out on the carnelian. I play around with the idea of earrings but it’s quite a bold color. Not sure I can handle it next to my face.

You’re right. They really do need a lovely soft green shade. When are they gonna get with it? And I want a natural stone.

You have built one of of the most impressive WG collections. Each SO piece Came out perfectly and just works with the stock WG pieces. It’s so cohesive and wearable. Can’t say which is my favorite combo because they all have something special about them.

Will try. But a lot of my pieces are in the bank vault and I haven't been to the bank for many months.

Yeah. I get that @Phoenix . The pandemic has changed life for us all. I hope you get to enjoy your unbelievable collection soon. You wear everything with such panache.

Thank you @Rubies-R-Me. So funny you Val it a store. I have been kinda numb to the pieces but I see what you mean. Thank you for your lovely compliment.

Thank you @Muluver. I do see more possibilities when I look at everything together. Funny cause I wear each piece separately usually but it’s nice to be able to stack if I want to change things up.

Thank you so much @Missie1. I feel the same way about your RG collection. I can see in my mind’s eye your gorgeous RG and GMOP with your perlee bangles. My mom deserves the credit for the all WG and the carnelian and WG pieces. I was super hesitant because I thought it would be too bold but she was sure it would work. Turns out she was right. It’s bold but I think the collection can use a little jolt. I am looking forward to see where your collection goes. Honestly I still see the pave butterfly earrings on you. It gives my heart a flutter, no pun intended. What you said about building a WG collection is so astute. It has taken me years to figure out an onyx and WG earring option. But now that I have I am so excited to see if it will happen. I’ll try to stay calm and measured, and remember what you said. And I am so trying to curb the VCA until I get my studs which will take a while.

The carnelian and wg piece is spectacular. Kudos to mom for that one. I had butterflies as my next big purchase however I’m now thinking about Pave 5 motif bracelet as my Perlee needs a bling pop. It can only be one major piece per year and as I have my studs already I always choose my wrist. So will need to think heavily on this. I can’t wait to see your studs they are my favorite piece of jewelry. They literally go with everything.

What a decision… Pave five motif vs. Butterfly earrings… Well, you know me, I’m all about the ears  I think I still like the butterflies because they’re standalone on your ear, whereas a pave bracelet would go into a stack… But I could definitely see (and make!) an argument the other way, for bracelet first… Pricewise it’s a wash…

I’ll be watching this space for what you choose
