My previous setting was a Vatche Swan solitaire on top and currently it's set in a three stone with pear sides.. While I loved the solitaire I've learned that I prefer stones on the shank . I still have my solitaire and it now has a similant set in it (not shown here as per PS rules) so I get to enjoy it when I miss the simpler look.

Maybe this is why we have 10 fingers. Its impossible to pick just one style.
