Here is my snake ring, not sure of the year. One of my favorite aspects is the detailing of the snake skin pattern.

A while ago I made one for myself from sterling.
Here is the original thread, and a newer photo.
I reworked it recently and smoothed out a few areas.

My version of a snake ring

So I've been looking at Victorian snake rings online. Gosh, they are just so overpriced. So I decided as an experiment, to create one of my own from sterling. I had this little diamond just lying around, so I set him into the snake's head.

I know! Part of me wants to solder him to a bangle so I can look at him all day. But I figured he would get knocked around too much if I did that so better to stick with the original pendant plan.

I had it on my "favorites" list for over a year. It sold out, so someone bought it, but then it popped up again so they must have returned it. It took that as a sign

The fact that it was marked sold out in the screencap made it a bit confusing, but since miracles happen, I just assumed that it (or should it be they since there are two snakes? hehe) found its way to you somehow! Hope you're enjoying wearing your new ring. Are the new snakes settling into the family well?
