Its a unheated Madagascar sapphire. Bit over 3.6ct. The very unique thing about this sapphire is that he goes as more skyblue as more sun as he gets. Usually sapphires not look great in direct sunlight. Not so this one.

Thanks! I dont know witch of all sources produce sapphires with chromium content. Ive just very few in my collection. If I find time I probably sell something next winter.

Milky sapphires. Pear has a colorless clean line. The oval one shows several colors as brown, orange, yellow, green and goes more violet in incendescant light. The pear seems to be the same sapphire material but much more milky. I concider to recut the pavillion of the oval as it is to shallow.

Will do soon some pics of them in daylight.
