Show me your halo to solitaire reset

I guess I could potentially look at all the before and after pics of the halos but I would love to see the transformations/upgrades for the gals who’ve had halos and went back to solitaires. I originally had a solitaire, then halo for finger coverage, and had a slight upgrade to a solitaire and I love it!

I definitely do! Unfortunately I got called into work earlier but now there’s downtime so I thought I’d create a post I’ve been meaning to for a while. I will have to post when I get home!

My favourite is your third! I like how it is still totally about the central diamond, but there's lots of other eye-catching interest too! You totally need to post more pictures and hand shots now.

I went from solitaire to halo, back to solitaire. My original upgrade was a 1.543/I/VS2 ACA in a solitaire. I don’t have a picture of that ring on my phone. My solitaire setting got damaged and although I had it repaired it never was quite right. When the diamond loosened for the second time I decided I needed a different setting and chose a halo. The halo was a verragio and although lovely, I found myself not wearing it. I think it was just too fancy for my lifestyle. Last year, I traded in my 1.543 for a 2.67/H/VS1 ACA and placed it in my solitaire but with a new head. I definitely wear my solitaire much more than the halo.

The solitaire pictured with my halo is my original engagement ring; a .55 octillion (zales).
