!Awww Pinto Bean you made my day lol..definitely not a model...normally grungy with no makeup and hair unwashed as I run around taking care of 3 boys lol...I put mascara and eyeliner on literally just bc I was so excited about the earrings lol and wanted to see how they looked with my eyes haha.

Thank you for scrolling to find the pics for me!!!!.... I love your earrings!!! they are so beautiful and perfect for every single day wear! I love that style so much. The earshot is my favorite. Love how they hang just below the earlobe like that. That's my favorite look for sure

I have a pair to add - David Klass made these for me a couple months ago. The sapphires were an LT find.

I like your design even better than the Bev K design that you used as a springboard! Very nice modifications! These are such a gorgeous and classic pair with fun vintage flair and the color of the sapphires is amazing! Way to go on these...and as usual, I want a pair lol. Oh what size were your diamond sides stones and was the sapphire again? 4.5mm? or 4mm? Were the diamonds about 1.2mm in halo and how big was the top one? Yours look larger than the Bev K design and I like yours better.. I'm.trying to get an idea of diamond size for when I design something similar with an octagon halo. Thanks so much, Goldenfire! The sapphires were 4.5 mm and the diamonds are .48ctw, so must be a bit more 1-pointers, less than 1.5. I think they’re are a little bigger than the Beverley K diamonds. I didn’t really specify the size of the diamonds, I just trusted David to do that.

The proportions are really perfect. Yours are absolutely hands down, nicer than the Bev K design in my opinion. Really gorgeous! Thanks for sharing

They look just like the sellers listing pics that i posted earlier...Love them! They are 18k rose gold but the gold color is close enough to look great with my Satin finish CvB Astrid pendant and bangle with 22k wash....the green amethyst color is a bit deeper than the sea green that I am used to but it's beautiful and the diamonds are great quality. They still match my eyes which is another reason I love green amethyst stones :) They are pictured next to one of my Morganite dangles which i will have to add to the thread later

LOVE! Gorgeous all of it and you are beautiful too!:love:

Thanks missy!!! I am thrilled with the earrings. I got such a good price on them which makes it even more exciting (I LOVE a good deal)... they are selling for absurd prices online lol. They are 7k on amazon and zappos and I got them for less than a 1/4 ... I don't care about a name, just the beauty, but it's sure crazy what a name does to jewelry value.

I'm going to use them for inspiration for some "leftover stones," as long as you don't mind.

This shot includes my cross pendant that I got when I was confirmed at age 14. :)

In a moment of weakness, I bought these yellow gold earrings from a department store liquidation. They are fun! They swing and catch the light in the best way. (Now, back to my goals— saving for a watch and diamond pendant!)

Everybody should! :love:

Oh, then I'm going to jump on this bandwagon too when I have the budget! I just love those simple dangles, and I think they're the solution for a basic earring for me, because I can't wear studs (for the silliest reason - my ear piercings are VERY unevenly placed, and I got them as a baby so there's no way to let them close and start over). I'm glad you don't mind being copied!

They’re sapphire and diamond leverback. I like that they’re not too big so I can wear them with my casual lifestyle..

Yes they are. BLUElicious :kiss2::love::kiss2:

[QUOTE="KristinTech, post: 4395533,

Thank you @KristinTech and @missy! I bought these a few years ago and forgot about them! I used to squirrel my jewelry around the house to keep them safe and then forget about them..Now I keep all my jewelry in a folding quilted jewelry roll in little jewelry baggies so I know what I have..:lol-2:

Random aside for @stracci2000 - I’ve been away from NZ for many years now, but back in the 90s a very popular bookstore chain (Whitcoulls) released a “Top 100 reads” annually. I devoured those lists... it wasn’t too often that an author who I wasn’t familiar with in some capacity popped up. Pearl Buck was one of them - and I, like you, found her works moving, haunting, and inspirational. I remember begging aunts, uncles, and cousins to trawl bookstores in the US for Sons and A House Divided as my parents assured me they simply weren’t anywhere to be found in Auckland or Wellington at the time...

I wasn’t going anywhere in particular with all of that ::) back to regular programming!

Coming out of lurkdom...

My jewelry box is tiny since I started only a few years ago. These lovely earring charms came from Coffee Critical.

Also, here is a picture of my modest Tahitian pearls.

Chunky monkey rose cut dangles...from Anup. I did not try these on...too heavy for my sensitive earlobes but they are the prettiest rose cut diamonds I ever saw. And I am not a rose cut diamond fan generally.
