Please. They can be solitaires or 3-stone or antique-y or anything. Diamonds or colored, I don''t care. I just want to see settings with ovals! Inspire me, please! Thanks!

I don''t have time to find them now, but Hudson_Hawk, ephemery, and JenStone all have beautiful ovals. At least, I''m pretty sure it''s ephemery...I know the other two do. Just run a search for them and you should be able to find their rings.

Yay an oval thread!! Here is my oval with round sidestones... I tried to find pix that show the setting well, so these are from last year... since then, I''ve added a wedding band!

Not the best pic, but shows it with the band... I was a bit worried about finding a band that worked since I knew it wouldn''t sit flush with my setting, so I was thrilled to find this eternity band!

Emphery1, we demand stats immediately!! your setting is luuurrrvvveeeellllyyy and just perfect with the band too. It''s very tempting to change my mind from pave setting for my eventual oval to side RBs like you. However, don''t know how bf''s going to take it - we''ve already gone from asscher with side baguettes to asscher with pave band to oval with pave...if I start throwing side RBs into the mix, I may push him off the edge of patience altogether!

All the ovals on here are just gorgeous... I love seeing the different setting possibilities!! We went with the round sidestones because DH liked them best (and I figured he should get SOME input

), but I was also a fan of pears and half-moons. And Coati, those kites are beautiful and so unique!!

Ring specs (I had to go look it up in my original thread!):
1.51 ct (8.58 x 6.40 x 3.96 -- 1.34 L:W ratio)
F, SI1
5.25 ring size
Sidestones = .30 tcw, RB
Eternity band = 1 tcw (I think?)

Keep all the gorgeous oval pix coming!!
