Question about my Tacori

Katy, as someone who has followed this thread from (almost) the beginning, I for one think you handled the situation extremely well given the circumstances and the poor treatment you received from the jeweler. I am SO looking forward to seeing the next post from you which includes photos of you wearing, and Loving, the ring! It truly is an amazing design.

I want to thank you guys so much, without my fiance here to really help at all in the situation it has really been a blessing to have people on here to have helped me through this and offered me advice, especially those with Tacori rings (and the EXACT ring as mine).

We are sending the email to the rep at Tacori that called me today so hopefully the ring will be sent back to Tacori tomorrow, expedited shipping as she agreed to and I should have it back in about 3 weeks. Yay, yay, yay!

I have bigger things to worry about in life, I'm just ready to wear this ring and forget about what has happened. Now I'm onto figuring out what has me so sick and going to an ENT doc today, blegh! Haha

Hi Katy, I just read your post for the first time, and I feel so bad for the trouble you have gone through! I hope that it all gets sorted now.

I JUST picked this exact same ring out for my engagement ring last night, so I won’t be getting it for some time (plus I have to wait and act surprised then my boyfriend proposes, which I am not sure when or how... haha) but hopefully the ring is beautiful.

The real question, I see that many others have the same ring, what is everyone doing for the WEDDING BAND?

We ordered it with the engagement ring, but I really think it might look to “heavy” on my fingers...
I also got the half band like you did Katy, because I wanted the ring as a whole to seem “lighter”, and I was thinking what would look nice actually is if there was a wedding band that was made the same as the half band under-side, with no diamonds. I think it might look better on me.

Originally, I wanted the matching wedding band but my fingers are short and so I decided it wouldn't look good on me to have the matching WB. Wish I had longer fingers. I will more than likely doing two very thin eternity bands on each side. I didn't think I would like the look of something that didn't match but I actually really loved it.

That's the same problem I have, my fingers are short... Are you going to have the wedding bands custom made then?

I went back to the jeweller last night and this is one of the options they showed me! As a total width I doubt it's much thinner if any, but the delicacy of the eternity bands, and how they offer symmetry made such a huge difference! I agree, this is a great option and probably what I'll do too. So I cancelled the order of the 2578 wedding band. Thank you so much for your input!
My boyfriend also really likes the rose gold brushed matching mens’ band with the scroll work on the sides, so perhaps all the bands will be Tacori.

Did it?!?! Glad you liked it! And you are so right about the delicacy and symmetry! Wish you took pics, I'd love to see what it looks like again...its no longer fresh in my mind

Funny you mention rose gold...I was even thinking of doing two rose gold thin eternity bands on each side...so curious as to how it would look!!
