Yes, there was a time when PS allowed photographs to be stored on other servers and it seemed a lot easier for me to be able to post a picture at that time because I merely had to reference the URL for where the picture was stored on our web server. I''m not sure why PS does not allow pictures to be stored on other servers now, but I''m sure there is a good reason for it. Perhaps it was due to complaints from other web sites accusing PS of stealing bandwidth or something by direclty linking to content hosted on their servers, or it might be because the photographs might be removed from the server at some point and thus would leave holes in the content of the article published on PS - that makes a lot of sense actually. But I have to say that I''m challenged by the system used to publish photographs on PS and often do not post pictures simply because of the time it takes to reformat a picture to conform to the size restrictions allowed for pictures to be posted. I suppose there is no perfect solution to this dilemmaDate: 3/18/2008 12:01:32 PM

Did PS at one time allow photos to be hosted elsewhere; i.e., not on the PS server?
This is my ring too, except without the diamonds on shoulders/shank of band; mine is plain platinum below the basket and around.Date: 3/18/2008 10:15:02 AM

thanks BlackIsland! That ring looks so lovely on your hand. I tracked down your original tacori post and saw that your center stone was about the same size as mine. Lots of great pictures there too!

My experience with sizing my ring and having the center stone set was very different than most peoples'' here, as far as I can gather.
My fiance purchased the setting here in Dallas from Bailey Banks & Biddle, BB&B sized it from a 6.5 to a 5.25, then set the stone (once it arrived from Blue Nile) themselves instead of sending it to Tacori.
Tacori never touched it after purchase; BB&B is an authorized dealer. I''m wondering why BB&B handled the work themselves.
Does anyone else know a possible answer? BB&B did a fantastic job, and of course the turnaround time on sizing and setting was extremely quick since it was done locally. Sizing took three days; the setting was done while fiance (nervously, since it was done day of proposal!) waited.
