My new 5 ct radiant, G vs2, with pave halo setting. What a difference shall hands make. It makes the ring look Huge! Mine are a hefty 6.5 -.75 depending on which hand....

I''m looking through this thread, turning green of course...and I''m wondering if I shaved down my ring finger so it was a size 3.5, would I also get a 3+ ct. diamond?

Because seriously, it seems like the smaller your finger, the heavier diamond you get to put on it.

Thankyou Widget...its 4.2 ct center, G color, and vs1 clarity...and about 1 ct on each side... I really don''t know any other stats on it...my husband has all my jewelry''s papers stashed away
But on how I got it, well when my husband and I decided to get married I just wanted a simple band to wear since I hadn''t seen any rings I liked...so we went on a little getaway, and I looked around his friends jewelry shop...I tried on a bunch of rings, 2 cts, 3 cts, and a few bigger ones, but once I tried on this yg ring I knew it was the one...it is exactly what I wanted...

oh funny observation! Does it seem like a lot of these bigger stones are on smaller fingers?
I should be getting a 3.5-ish RB soon and my ring size is 4. I could go to 3.5 or 3.75 but 4 felt best.
