Hi Everyone! This is my very first post..and I hope you guys can help me out!
So, here it goes...
I knew nothing about engagement rings (even though my dad is a jeweler and owns a jewelry store), all I knew is that I wanted a simple solitaire engagement ring. I saw one, about 2 minutes later I decided that''s what I want.
It''s a emerald cut, vvs1, colorless, on a simple platinum band, about a little bit smaller than a carat. It looks beautiful on my small, yucky hands.
Anyway, fast forward to now, (a few months later)..after looking around, I decided to change things up a bit. I want to keep my ring the way it is (I love it, that''s what I got, and most importantly my fiance loves it and it means a lot to him). So all I am changing is the head.
Can you guys post some pictures of engagement rings with a plain band, and a halo around the stone? also if you can get some side views, because i want to do something unique from the side as well, perhaps add a pink diamond, or something? I don''t know, I want this ring to be perfect!!!
Thank you much!!!!!
And please give me your suggestions..what kind of setting do you like for an emerald cut with a plain band?
