Greetings,

The PriceScope community is my official “shopping buddy” as no one in my family appreciates shiny things. Lol. I need your help once again! I plan on getting multiple piercings for a constellation of tiny diamonds in my ears. Both of these are within my budget and preferred size (between .25 - .30). Help me pick one.

Ps: If it matters to your decision making process - This diamond will be sitting next to a round, .55 ct, G stone and will be set in platinum.

Neither seems very bright (guessing).

How about - www (it just happened to be at hand - I liked the cut & kept the link for no reason)

The P3 facets are a little quiet head-on on Option A but it performs well aside from that :)

Option B looks nice as well, but perhaps the central band performs too strongly compared to the rest of the stone?

I'll have to try to have a look tomorrow for other options!

Thank you very much for doing some research on my behalf! I really like the diamond in the last link #12315511. I think it looks better than my original Blue Nile choice. The only hesitation I have is the feather but at such a tiny carat weight and VS Clarity I don’t think it matters Hopefully this comparison link works

Hmmm... now I am torn between the one you selected and the JA ! :) I guess this is just going in my 2nd ear piercing so I shouldn’t loose too much sleep over it (thank goodness I am not engaged, I could never choose !)

Among rectangular step cuts - #73312824

I am looking for pavilion facets lighting up (most when the table is aligned to the screen), as opposed to just reflections off the surface (eg. the table or crown facets)... For small studs, all I'd need is flash; the stones could look stark black in ASET, or nearly; I am not seeing such extreme choices on the lists.

Feathers at VS clarity should pose no issue in terms of stone safety, so it's more about if it bugs you :)

There were quite a lot of attractive cuts at BN, I was quite surprised! EC cutting seems to have got a lot better recently, from what I can tell. There are more I didn't have a chance to link to so there is one out there for you, you don't have to 'settle' if a VS stone is not 'mind-clean' :))

The more I looked at the stone compared to the JA one, and others I researched, I started to find the squatness of it very appealing and I decided she had to be mine! Thanks again to everyone for the input, I know it’s such a small purchase but taking it through really helps! Will post picks when I have it set.

That asscher is gorgeous! Makes me want to put even more holes in my earlobes! But I can’t fit much more! Lol..

Even though it is tiny, it is gorgeous and I can’t wait to take it to the jeweler. It looks great next to the heart and round studs. This is hopefully how it will look once I get the 3rd piercing (like a little collection of diamonds on my ear). Only negative thing is now I wish all my other diamonds were E colored! Lol .. trying to get a decent pick was difficult but believe me , it’s so cute / pretty in person

I love the variety clustered together, it will look awesome :)

I would say post some pics when set and you're wearing everything together, but I appreciate how difficult that will be :D lol

Got the earrings back from jeweler. My little craft project has turned out great. Both are set in 18k white gold. Please forgive the crap photos! In person, the double diamonds give the sparkly / twinkly “constellation” piecing look I was going for but are small enough to wear to work/etc.. and I absolutely love my tiny emerald cut diamond !
