Phoenix pendant/pin

It seems as though every few years I remember that I want a vintage Phoenix pin/brooch that I can convert into a pendant. Inspired by @Smith3 and her new hummingbird, I restarted my search.

Found that Boucher made some glorious detailed bird brooches in the 70s and 80s, and Schlumberger also made a phoenix brooch. Watching these ones and would love opinions! Not all are meant to be phoenix birds, but the ones I like have the phoenix "look" to them.



Ps. I know the Boucher pieces might fall into the "fashion" category since the stones arent natural, but the workmanship is amazing IMHO.

I agree. But I worry that it looks a lot like a dove and doesnft have any red (which to me makes it more reminiscent of a phoenix). What do you think?

I could see that it looks more like a dove. I was more drawn to the movement & the shape of the tail feathers.
Some of the second batch you posted are incredible too!

Do you know the approximate dimensions of the cab? Maybe it's possible you could swap it out yourself, commissioning a red spinel cab from Joe Henley.
