Hi guys, been searching for a while and doing quite a bit of online research to the point of insanity. I've found a diamond that looks good on paper and in video, but would like opinions from more experienced people as well.

Here are the overall specs I've been searching with:

Shape: Oval
Carats: approximately 2
Clarity: SI1 or better (eye clean)
Color: H or better (unnoticeable tint of yellow)
Cut: Excellent (I know GIA doesn't grade cuts for fancy shapes so this section in seller opinion)

Table %: 55-60
Dept %: 59-63

Budget: Less than $20,000....around $17,000 would be preferable before setting and everything.

Definitely take a look at August Vintage ovals to see if they have anything that works for you.

On the stone you picked...seems to have a nice area in the center that will light up.
Yes, this is in a bow-tie shape but bow-ties on standard ovals are fine as long as they
are not black (IMO). You can see if they will get you an ASET image on the stone. (Fair warning...oval asets are not pretty...its all relative).
You can find stones wihtout this shape but they tend to be 4 main and more crushed iced looking IMO.

Wish there were more nice facets lighting up at a slight turned in this area

The nice thing about August Vintage is that they have 10 mains with ideal light return AGS000. What do you have to give up to get that? The stones
have to be cut to a deeper depth to get the right angles for ideal light return. Unfortunately, it doesnt look like they have anything right now that
fits your specs, however, you can ask what's coming down the road.
