Opinions on a diamond please?

What is the HCA score? IMHO its overkill in both color and clarity, but if that's what you want (or need for cultural reasons) then that makes sense.

From a numbers standpoint the angles/depth/table are within the ranges we recommend (41 pav can work w a 34 crown).
 
Sure thing - the HCA report is 1.3.

I actually wasn't looking for anything quite that highly rated (color range I was going for was F+) but this was the only diamond that matched my other parameters (cut, size, cost).

It's likely a good performing stone. But you could definitely get more for your money if you dropped in color or clarity. Especially clarity, since you are paying for something invisible (e.g VS2 and up is almost always eye clean, and many SI1s are as well)

So, to confirm, you are looking for Colourless (D-F) MRBs with Ideal or SuperIdeal cut, over about 0.8ct in weight?
