I really like the scaled down side flowers.. much better proportions than in the original CAD :)

Wow! I can''t wait to see it. I love floral motifs.

AJ that''s a great suggestion! The waxes actually came in on Friday and the flowers did turn out very deep. The potential for gunk and nastiness getting in there was a big concern for me, so they are filling in the centers some more. If the centers are still too deep, I''ll bring up your suggestion! They''re also modifying the line of one of the vines, there was some negative space as a result of scaling the flowers down, that was bugging me.

glad to be of help tiger, we certainly wouldn''t want these beauties collecting gunk!
Really looking forward to seeing the waxes.

We finalized the waxes today, and they''re going to be cast!!

Here is the final e-ring, with the modified line of the vine, and the flowers filled in.

And a top-down view with the modified e-ring, and the flowers on the wedding band filled in.

I''m hoping that I''ll get pics of the finished products from them before things get too crazy, so I remember to post them here, haha! We are 10 days away!! When did that happen!

This may be the most beautiful set I have ever seen on pricescope. You balance the detail so well and English simply does not have the words to express how amazing I think it is

Bellisima

I wish I could take credit! John told them the general look and concept he had in mind, and our designer Kirk did all the rest. I only got involved after the initial designs were finished and helped choose the design, and have only been tweaking little details here and there. :)

These were the initial design choices...amazingly beautiful, but we had to really alter things when we discovered the chips on our diamond's girdle, and decided a bezel setting would be best for it.

BTW -- you don't happen to be on livejournal do you Bellisima?? I know someone on there who goes by brazenhussy. :3

And here is the design they were seriously pursuing, but we decided it looked too busy (John had been trying to include every single design element I''m fond of, on one ring lol <3), and I also finally decided that I really wanted a straight wedding band.

At this point we discovered the chips on the girdle and took things in a different direction. The first bezel sketch they did was perfect (posted on the first page of this thread iirc) and we took it to waxes from there!

This has go to be the neatest thing I''ve seen on PS so far!!!! I also like the scaled down design it balances it out much better to the eye

Almost reminds me of an ancient egyptianish style (if you will) with all the flowery details and the gold with the color stones! Soooo cool!!! Cant wait to see it!
