@Bayek, I'm so very sorry about your friend, such a difficult thing. It's terrible that so many things are going wrong with the house but hang in there, it will all work out in the end. And I hope Salley is feeling better soon. So much going on, I hope things start going better for you, please take care.

@missy, I'm sending calming thoughts to you and best wishes for Greg's surgery this week - I know there's a lot to worry about but trying to stay positive and having faith in the doctors will help. Just keep thinking about what a relief it will be to have this all over with. I'm wishing Greg all the best and hoping for a smooth surgery and that he is back at home asap. I was sorry to see Greg needed another biopsy and I am hoping for the best on that too.

DS and DD are doing pretty well - both are working and busy, and seem to be in good spirits. we didn't see dd at NY but ds lives close by so he stopped by for a quick visit.

Love the pics of Gracie, she is such a sweet little thing! Your new earrings look beautiful and the scenery on your walks is lovely.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues and discomfort and I hope the specialists can get you back on the road to good health. Your bedroom is really pretty - very inviting and calming. Murphy sounds like such a sweetie, I'm glad he's bringing some joy into your life.

@Austina, I'm sorry it will be a while before you can see Adam and Kim, it's very hard. Sounds like Bertie is doing great and very happy being with Adam and Kim. What a great pic of him in the snow. Wow, your bedroom, and your house, are just lovely. The progress you're making on the house is impressive, you've gotten a lot done and I'm glad you're in the home stretch. So exciting that you've started looking at houses!

@marcy, I was sorry to read about your fall! Must have been scary for you and I'm really glad you're ok. It's so great that you are noticing improvement and good results from your lifting. LOL to your self-appraisal being a work of fiction. Sounds like things are going well with your SIL, it's nice she can stay with you while she finds a place. Hope work is going ok for you this week.

Girls, thank you all for your well wishes for Greg. Your warmth and good energy come through and I so appreciate it. Unfortunately the dermatologist called us yesterday saying the mole biopsy is severely atypical melanocytes and he needs to take more of it out. I am upset he didn't take wider margins like our NYC derm always does. Lesson learned. But the surgery today complicates things so long story and won't go into now but we have two appointments one with the NYC derm on Tuesday and one with this one Friday. Greg might not even be able to do the Friday appt because we aren't sure how long he will be in the hospital. Praying today goes smoothly and all is well. Of course I didn't really sleep so it's going to be a long day.

@Polabowla my heart goes out to you and I am keeping good thoughts for you and your DH. I get it and I am here for you anyway I can be.

It’s been a crazy stressful long day. I’m still waiting to hear from the surgeon again about Greg’s status but the short of it is surgery went well but took a super long time. Surgeon took the thyroid and parathyroid and they’re monitoring him now. The surgeon called me after the surgery and said he’s not sure if they’re releasing him tonight or having him stay. Waiting to see if he gets a hospital bed or is released later this evening. So I’m just waiting to hear the update from the surgeon.

Thank you all. I really appreciate your warm and caring support. It was a hard day and your kind wishes made it a bit less awful.

Thanks Austina. It was a very challenging wait today. I sort of lost it around 2pm after I called and the hospital told me he was still in surgery. My mind went to dark places. The surgery shouldn’t have been more than 2-3 hours. But big relief when the surgeon called me telling me it went well and now we wait to see what pathology says. I spoke with Greg and he’s in pain but they’re giving him meds. Poor sweetie. Thanks so much for your support and encouragement. XO.
